Chris Dean & the Syd Lawrence Orchestra and featuring special guest Aiden Kent

The best big band in the land; “The Syd Lawrence Orchestra“, under the direction of Chris Dean, come to The Warren for one night only, joined by special guest star vocalist; Aiden Kent.

The fabulous Syd Lawrence Orchestra has been thrilling audiences in Concert Halls, Theatres, TV Shows and Music Festivals all over Great Britain and Continental Europe for over 50 years.

Renowned for its exciting blend of high octane Big Band Swing and Classic Dance Music, the Orchestra’s repertoire ranges from the wartime million sellers of the legendary Glenn Miller through the era of the great Count Basie Orchestra to the hit songs of Frank Sinatra and Ella Fitzgerald. Count Basie himself described the Syd Lawrence Orchestra as “So good it should be BANNED!”.

The South-East’s favourite swing singer, Aiden Kent has been featured on The BBC and performed at The London Palladium, and knows the street of London like the back of his hand as The Singing Cabbie.  

Aiden will be joining The Syd Lawrence Orchestra to sing some of the very best winners from the age of Swing!

Expect the likes of Glenn Millar, Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr, and all your favourites.
